Having graduated from Nova Southeastern University with a bachelor's degree in environmental science, it's no surprise that I love to be outside moving my body around and having a good time. I have a great amount of latitude when it comes to subjects; some of the ones that I know like the back of my hand include science, geography, writing, biology, and Spanish. You might be wondering where I come from if I know Spanish, right? Well, I'm originally from Bogota, Colombia, although I grew up in Sunrise, FL. Being that I came here when I was a teen, it's also no surprise that I have a great mastery of both English and Spanish-I'm bilingual! Because of this, I feel very qualified to instruct people on higher-level matters such as, say, an AP class on Spanish or even an entrance college essay. Neither of those things would be particularly problematic for me. In addition to my passion for teaching, I make sure to instruct people carefully without pressuring them, making the environment with my students one filled with calmness and relaxation. I don't think students want to feel like they're being imprisoned in a torture session with their tutors, so I always try to chill everything down and make it simple. In my spare time, I enjoy exercising and traveling, and hope to visit Asia soon.
