A native Spanish speaker, I am originally from Colombia, South America and now reside in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. I tutor elementary and middle school math, Spanish, ESL/ELL, and AP Spanish literature and culture. After moving to Florida, I attended Florida International University and earned my bachelor's degree there. I have a 120 hour TEFL certificate, which qualifies me to teach ESL or English as a foreign language, and specialize in working with young students and in one-on-one teaching. I enjoy helping my students learn and teaching them new vocabulary. Also, I'm proficient at helping them work on reading skills and pronunciation. Fun, engaging classes make learning a language easier for students as well. It also helps that I have clear pronunciation so a student can understand me when we work together. When not teaching, I like to laugh and be silly and enjoy hanging out with my friends.
