I love being able to help a struggling student develop a greater understanding of a subject. To be able to help a student achieve that moment of insight, where difficult concepts suddenly make sense, is a rewarding feeling.I love mathematics, and this love for the subject is what makes me an excellent tutor. I enjoy being surrounded by math, where I can solve problems challenging problems. I also work hard to develop relationships with my students, so that I can relate to them and gain a better understanding of their wants and needs. In addition, I think it is important to establish a mutual respect among the teacher and learner. Not only do I aim to help my students pass tests and complete assignments, but I want to help them develop a greater understanding of the subject as a whole.I graduated from Broward College and currently live in Sunrise, Florida. I teach elementary and middle school math, pre-algebra, algebra levels one and two, and Spanish levels one and two. I also tutor during the summer, and am able to help learners prepare for the math portion of the SAT. To me, there is no greater joy than seeing a student pass a test in a subject that previously gave them trouble.
